Terms of use

Version 2026-10-06. By creating or claiming a Creative Card you agree to these terms.

1. What The Creative Card is

The Creative Card is a digital ID for songwriters, producers and artists. You build a card with your professional details, share it by link or QR code, and choose what each person can see.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your login and for the accuracy of what you put on your card. Please keep your password private. We may suspend an account that is misused, impersonates someone, or breaks these terms.

3. The Creative Card Database (CCD)

Being part of the Creative Card Database is part of having a Creative Card. The CCD is a searchable directory used by publishing, label and management companies to find and contact music creators. By agreeing to these terms you agree that:

  • Your card is listed in the CCD, so approved companies can search for you and open your CCD profile.
  • Companies can always see your name, AKA, role, genres, photo, bio and the music and social links on your card.
  • Your contact email, your publishing and PRO details (PRO, IPI, publishing name and publisher), and your manager and lawyer details are shown to companies only if you leave the matching sharing switch on in the Privacy section of your dashboard. You can change those switches at any time.
  • Your login email address is never shown in the CCD.
  • Making your card private limits who can open your public card page. It does not remove you from the CCD, and the details you choose to share are still shown to CCD companies.
  • Companies use the CCD under their own agreement with us. We record how the database is used and limit how much can be exported.

If you want to be removed from the CCD, or have your account closed, contact us (or email info@thecreativecard.us) and we will do it.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you add to your card, including your photo and links. You give us permission to store it and display it as described in these terms, including in the CCD. Only add information and images you have the right to share.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use The Creative Card to harass people, spam, scrape the site, or collect other people's information for any purpose other than professional music business contact.

6. Privacy

We collect the information you give us (your name, email, card details, photo and releases) and basic anonymous activity counts for your card, such as how many times it was opened. We use your email to run your account and to send messages about it, such as sign-in links. We do not sell your personal information. We use service providers to host the site and send email. See our Privacy Policy for the full details, including how to download or delete your data.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will ask you to agree again before you continue.

8. The service

The Creative Card is provided as is, and we work hard to keep it running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error free. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using the service.
